A podcast for true comic book fans
The one and only Kevin Smith (Dogma, Clerks) is teaming up with artist Pernille 0rum on an up coming Hit-Girl Arc.
Kevin Smith is not only an award winning film maker he’s also garnered critical acclaim for his comics writing with Daredevil, Green Arrow, and tie-stories to Clerks and Dogma. But let’s not forget he also wrote the now notorious Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil that Men Do. Initially loved by fans the book was plagued by delays and took over 4 years to conclude, giving us an ending that most fans felt was lackluster at best. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen on Hit-Girl.
Pernille 0rum is new to the comic scene, but has a rich background in animation and experience with clients such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Mattel Playground, and Nickelodeon Jr. She puts a bright, fresh spin on the artistic direction of Hit-Girl. You can learn more about Pernille here: http://www.pernilleoe.dk/ and purchase her art book via kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pernilleoe/blush-the-art-of-pernille-rum
No details on the story arc have been released at this time, but we are excited to see this new spin on one of our favorite characters.
